Pam Nyrose

Pam Nyrose has served as a Counsellor with Shalom Counselling Centre since 2010. Pam holds a Master of Arts in Christian Ministries – Marriage and Family Therapy, received in 2007 from Briercrest Seminary of Caronport, SK.

She is a Certified Professional Counsellor and member in good standing with the Professional Association of Christian Counsellors and Psychotherapists (PACCP) (Registration #314AB06); and Clinical Fellow and member with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).

Pam values her relationships with both family and friends; time with them includes lots of cooking and activity – walking, running, cycling, swimming and camping.

 

Mike

Mike Takkinen

Mike Takkinen has served as a Counsellor with Shalom Counselling Centre since June 2009. Mike Takkinen holds a Master of Arts (Christian Counselling), received in 2009 from Providence Theological Seminary of Winnipeg (Calgary campus).

He is a Certified Professional Counsellor in good standing of the Professional Association of Canadian Christian Counsellors (PACCC), (Member #366AB08, Certification #20140175).

Mike loves living near his old family homesteads of Central Alberta but he makes sure he gets back to visit friends in the mountains of BC on a regular basis.

Bob

 

Bob McKenzie

Bob McKenzie has served as a Counsellor with Shalom Counselling Centre since its inception in 1999. Bob holds a Master of Arts degree in Counselling, received in 1986 from Grace Theological Seminary of Winona Lake Indiana.

He is a Certified Professional Counsellor Supervisor (#20140031) with the Professional Association of Christian Counsellors & Psychotherapists (PACCP). Bob believes counselling needs to adapt to fit the client, considering the whole person and the family system. It is his privilege to help clients find their own solutions.

Bob is a family man, thankful to share the adventure with his wife and their four grown children. He loves to get away to the mountains to camp, hike, and to try some photography.

 

Shari Shari Moore

Shari Moore has served as a Counsellor with Shalom Counselling Centre since 2004. Shari Moore has a BA in Psychology from the University of Calgary received in 1999 and a Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy received from Loma Linda University in 2006.

She is a Registered Psychologist; and a member of good standing with CAP (College of AB Psychologists) and PACCP (Professional Association of Christian Counsellors and Psychotherapists (Registration #20140101). Shari thinks that every person was born to sparkle, so never let anyone dull your sparkle.

 

Michele
Michele Langmead – (Olds Satellite Office Counsellor)

Michele has worked in a variety of mental health settings for over 25 years. Michele graduated from Concordia University in Montreal in 1994 with a BA in Applied Social Science and from McGill University also in Montreal in 2004 with a Masters in Counselling Psychology.

Michele’s main areas of interest are addictions; verbal, emotional and physical abuse; depression; anxiety; and attachment. Michele also works as a consultant offering leadership development and remediation services to various business organizations. Michele’s current professional development focus is on Emotion Focused Therapy for couples and individuals and how trauma and neglect affect brain development.

Michele is passionate about her work as a psychotherapist. She is happily married with two beautiful teenage daughters.
