"Through my teaching background, I have gained valuable experience supporting children and youth from diverse cultural backgrounds. I am dedicated to helping children and their families navigate life’s challenges while discovering their inner strengths and fortifying the family unit. My role is to facilitate your child's self-discovery and promote healing and growth through play therapy. I support children and youth in addressing various challenges, such as academic or behavioural difficulties, anxiety, depression, family transitions, and relationship issues.
My therapeutic approach focuses on creating a safe and supportive space where children and youth can express themselves freely through play. I utilize a variety of modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each child and family. Together, we will explore strengths, needs, and goals, collaboratively building resources, enhancing resilience, and fostering positive change. Let’s work together to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive, and families can strengthen their bonds.
Currently, I am a Certified Canadian Counsellor working as a qualifying play therapist under the supervision of Leslie Pearson (Registered Psychologist, Certified Play Therapist-Supervisor)."
