Deborah Veuger is a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling with a Master’s in Education/Counselling, Bachelor of Christian Counselling, as well as a Child and Adolescence Behavioral Therapist. Deborah is a member in good standing with the following associations, CPCA #3649, ACTA#1492, CAPT (Canadian Association of Play Therapy #1670), and EOCPCA (The Evangelical Order of Certified Pastoral Counsellors of America #1193).
Deborah, for many years has worked extensively with families and individuals who have experienced domestic violence and family violence, grief and trauma. She is excited to journey in other areas including marriage and family therapy and Pastoral care. New to Shalom Counselling Centre is the inception of Child Play Therapy which Deborah has included in her practice.
Deborah is a writer and is a bestselling author of the book Because He Loves Me, a woman’s devotional in finding her identity in Christ. She is also a bestselling co-author of Walking In Your Destiny- Living in His Increase. She is often asked to speaker at women’s’ events and conferences. She is married, with 6 adult children and 7 grandchildren. Deborah loves traveling, gardening, cooking, walking and cycling and especially spending time with her family.
