Employee Assistance Program

An Employee Assistance Program is a short term counselling service for employees who have personal problems that are affecting their work performance, health and/or wellbeing.

If your employer has an Employee Assistance Program, then you and your family members may use the services included as part of your benefits package.

If you are unsure of the coverage included in your benefits package, speak to your Benefits Administrator at your place of employment.

If your counsellor at Shalom believes you need specialized or long term counselling not included in your plan, he/she will discuss this with you and may make a referral to another service available in your community.
