About our name:
Shalom is a word describing deep inner peace, a sense of well-being. Shalom comes when someone has found peace within themselves, peace with others, and peace with God. Too often day-to-day troubles rob us of the Shalom our hearts desire. Shalom Counselling Centre is here to help you find peace in your life and in your relationships.

Shalom’s Structure:
Shalom Counselling Centre operates from its offices in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, and has no affiliation with any similar organization in any other location. Shalom Counselling Centre of Alberta is a registered charity incorporated under the Societies Act and operates under the direction of an Interdenominational Board of Directors to guide the ministry.
Shalom has received referrals from over 60 churches, representing over 25 different denominations in Central Alberta. As well, about 25% of our clients identify no connection to any church or faith community.
For those wishing to be kept informed about Shalom, we publish a newsletter three times a year. If you would like to be added to our list of friends, please let us know by contacting the office between 9:00 & 5:00 weekdays at (403) 342-0339. Information you provide for our mailing list is not shared with any other organization. If at any time you wish that your name be removed from our mailing list, just request, and we will no longer send you our mailings.
